Carter Intralogistics is happy to announce the newest addition to our team: Dave Simon, Client Solutions Program Manager.  His primary focus is customer engagements for ongoing development of their e-commerce, fulfillment and last mile programs and strategies. 

 

Dave brings over 30 years of operations, business planning and engineering leadership across durable goods manufacturing, material handling, logistics and several supply chain disciplines. His career spans automotive, industrial controls, manufactured housing, and fast-moving consumer goods retail. He has worked within and led teams in 31 countries on 5 continents. Most recently Dave spent 4+ years developing and implementing the last mile delivery infrastructure, engineering processes and Prime-branded vans for Amazon Logistics. Dave started his career gaining subject matter expertise in vision system controlled robotic applications. He has collaborated with Carnegie Mellon University, Georgia Tech, and University of Michigan on advanced engineering projects. 

 

Dave has a BSE/Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and MBA from Michigan State University with concentration in international supply chain.

 

Dave is an avid cyclist, owns three road bikes and typically rides 5000 miles per year.  Fun fact: he completed a cross country bike trip from Los Angeles to Boston in addition to many shorter cycling adventures.
