Configura’s annual awards competition features new name and logo, offers cash prizes for winners

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., USA—April, 20, 2021—Designers, companies and students who use CET to design, specify and visualize spaces are invited to enter the 2021 CET Awards, Configura announced today.

“Each year, the CET Awards bring together our talented community to showcase the latest trends, innovation, impact and creativity happening in design,” Kelsey DeBruin, Configura’s global head of user community and events, said. “Our CET community continues to set the bar high for designing spaces that make a difference and we are thrilled to unveil a refreshed look for the CET Awards that honors the extraordinary work of our community.”

Formerly known as the CET Designer Awards, the CET Awards highlight work from designers, kitchen specialists, engineers, dealerships, manufacturers and talented students across the commercial interiors, kitchen and bath and material handling industries who use CET to design, specify and visualize spaces. Since its launch in 2008, the CET Awards have attracted hundreds of submissions from CET users around the globe.

The CET Awards are free for any CET user to enter and submissions are accepted across six categories: Success Story, Rendering, Student Rendering, Video, 360 Panorama and Innovative Extension. CET Awards entrants can enter as many categories as they wish but can only submit one entry per category. Entrants must have a CET license to participate and can only use CET to create their submission. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 4.

The awards take place in conjunction with CET Experience, Configura’s annual user and developer conference, where winners will be announced. This year’s CET Experience will take place Nov. 15-17 in Scottsdale, Arizona. The conference brings together hundreds of people from around the globe – including designers, dealers, developers, IT professionals, manufacturers and Configura employees – whose goal is to improve how spaces are designed. Conference attendance is not required to participate in the CET Awards or to win.
