MONTREAL, QUEBEC, April 12, 2021 - MHI has announced the finalists for the 2021 MHI Innovation Awards and the Damotech Platform is a finalist for the category of Best IT Innovation. The competition is part of the Promat Digital Experience (ProMatDX) taking place from April 12-16.

The Damotech Platform is the first and only dedicated rack inspection and asset management software in the industry. This cloud-based software provides visual representations of warehouse layouts (plan views and elevations) and allows warehouse operators to remotely track racking issues, inpspections and repairs in real-time, across several warehouses.

“We are proud to be a finalist in this year’s competition,” says Marc Rousseau, Damotech’s Vice President, National Accounts and Strategic Partnerships. “The Damotech Platform is a digital innovation that modernizes the management of rack and warehouse safety. Warehouse operators no longer need to lose sleep over not knowing if their racking is being safely maintained. The Damotech Platform enables clients to effortlessly capture an understanding of their racking remotely, allowing them to make informed decisions when it comes to their rack assets and overall warehouse operations.”

The MHI Innovation Award serves to educate and provide valuable insights on the latest manufacturing and supply chain products and services to ProMatDX attendees.  ProMatDX sponsors were called to submit a new product, product line, technology or service or new application of existing products or technology that create quantifiable and sustainable results in terms of ROI, cost savings and customer satisfaction.

After receiving 92 submissions for this year’s competition, eight independent judges comprised of professionals from the material handling and supply chain industry completed the initial vetting process. Ten finalists were chosen as the most innovative products in each category - Best New Innovation; Best Innovation of an Existing Product; and Best IT Innovation based on concept, value, and impact.

The winners of the 2021 MHI Innovation Awards will be announced during a ProMatDX keynote session at 11:00 AM CT on April 12 at promatshow.com.
