Material handling and warehouse automation solution provider recognized for new WMS technology

Atlanta: Stoecklin Logistics Inc., a global provider of material handling solutions, was named to Food Logistics’ FL100+ for 2020 for the second year in a row. The annual list honors leading software and technology providers that ensure a safe, efficient and reliable global food and beverage supply chain.

“Our team is honored to be listed with other innovative vendors to the extended food supply chain and is committed to providing companies with comprehensive solutions to their biggest product handling challenges,” said Damaris Gruetter, Director of U.S. & Canada at Stoecklin Logistics. “A great example of this commitment is the work we recently did with our clients to make sure we addressed all their needs when we upgraded our WMS.”

In selecting the company, Food Logistics highlighted Stoecklin’s new warehouse and order management system, which handles all intra-logistic processes between the receiving and shipping departments. Other features of the system, called StoecklinWMS, include new analytics and reporting, a costing tool that calculates extraneous process fees, a hazardous materials module and new controls for value-added services.

“From fleet management to warehouse management to simply just track and trace along the cold food chain, these software and technology providers have definitely stepped it up to ensure cold food and beverage products continue moving along the line with out incident,” says Maina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “This pandemic has thrown the food industry a curveball, but many of these providers fast-tracked the development and deployment of their solutions to ensure food safety, traceability, visibility and quality assurance. So, to these winners and others in the industry working to make a difference, thank you!”
